Since 1964 Thomas Armstrong (Timber) Ltd have been designing, manufacturing and supplying wooden pallets and packing cases. Recognised for our high levels of customer service and high-quality products, we manufacture and supply bespoke timber pallets and packing cases to meet our client’s specific dimensions. As a trusted and reputable manufacturer, we supply our products to large and small companies across multiple industry sectors from retail, food, and drink to engineering and automotive.
Based at our Head Office Complex in Flimby, Cumbria, our products are manufactured in our purpose-built factory under strict factory-controlled settings. To construct our pallets and packing cases we use the latest production processes using both auto and semi-automated machinery to cut all the pallet components to the correct specification which also allows us to produce high volumes ensuring very short notice deliveries.
The quality of our pallets and packing products are important to us; therefore, we are also committed to only using responsibly sourced timber from sustainable sources.

Our Product Range
All our products are manufactured to an agreed customer specification. Stock pallet sizes are available but bespoke pallets are regularly designed and manufactured as per customer requirement. Packing cases are manufactured to meet customer requirement.
Heat Treated 56-30 Packing Grade / ISPM15 Standards
Drawn up by the IPPC (International Plant Protection Convention), ISPM15 compliant wood packaging and pallets are a mandatory requirement for all export shipments which are travelling outside the UK.
At Thomas Armstrong Timber we have on-site kiln facilities (FC Number: FC0055) that allow us to manufacture pallets or packing cases that meet the internationally agreed ISPM15 standards (International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15). Carrying out the heat treatment process does not affect the strength or durability of the timber or products. It is designed to minimise and prevent the spread of disease in timber across countries.
